"A video game comic and blog that would have been awesome and relevant 10 years ago. Maybe." -Famous Website
Pie and I have been talking a lot about spoilers lately; it has always been an important subject to us, but has been unusually pronounced because we are genuinely deeply interested and invested in FF14. I think that is a tremendous sign as to how much the game means to us when we can be so vehemently protective of not having anything from story element all the way down to dungeons mechanics and even what is available to do in game spoiled for us.
Imagine our shock when the latest, official trailer for Heavensward had rather major story spoilers in them!? Thankfully, we have good friends that were able to intercept us before the damage could be done. I understand that there is a lot of story that needs to be recapped; but did they really have to showcase a call to action that would be featured so prominently that would give away key story elements to players who will be starting the game fresh?
