I like to make suspects of everyone and everything when I play a murder mystery. I'm easily aroused to suspicion and the more finger pointing I do, the more likely that one of my conclusions will be right. Since you play between multiple characters in Heavy Rain, I can't help but wonder if I'm playing the murderer and I just don't know it yet. So of course, once a murder has been announced I will be quick to interpret anything and everything I do as potential plot details and evidence. When we got to the scene depicted in this week's comic, I couldn't help but think..."Oh no...no no no...this can't. be. good."
Even though Pie and I only just got to the third origami clue, we are having a blast. The difficulty of the game is based on your familiarity with the controller, which gives more or less time to react to the QTEs and the number of buttons necessary. I set the difficulty to "perfectly familiar" to make the game the hardest it could be, and it really adds something to the experience! In some of the fight scenes, I was so tense to push the right buttons on time that I got really into what was happening to my characters! So far I haven't had perfect accuracy, but the game is pretty forgiving if you make mistakes, or it may even alter the scene completely if you mess up too much.
Pie and I have been able to get a lot of game time in thanks to the vacation, which was so very refreshing. It's nice to have guilt free time to ourselves since we usually don't allow for it from being so busy. The best thing was recharging and getting excited for the New Year; Pie and I really want to make some big strides this year in our personal and comic-making lives, so here's to exciting things to come, not just for us but hopefully for all of you too! Happy New Year everyone!!
