So, another week and another Bonus Stage! We are on a roll baby! Today we introduce Doctor Phillinius Catticus – Dungeon Master Extraordinaire. I have no idea what compelled us to do this comic other than the wonderfully cute Doctor Cat, M.D. that we linked to before. Pie and I have been watching the creator Sarah enjoy some great success because she made an adorable character that caught fire. This is our little homage to her with our own gaming spin.

When we started talking about Doctor Catticus, it was just a simple concept. Let's just do a simple reversal: instead of Doctor Cat, M.D. – let's do Cat Doctor, D.M. After talking about it though, Pie thought that the name Cat Doctor would be confusing since it reminded her of veterinarians. One thing lead to another and Doctor Catticus was born. As I was working on the coloring, a ton of back story and other jokes flooded into mind and I started to really get attached to him as a character. You all may see Dr. Catticus return in future Bonus Stages; only time will tell!

Wait! Future Bonus Stages?! That's right! You all should start to see a pattern here.

Pie and I will be dishing up Bonus Stage on a weekly basis from now on. There may be certain times (huge external workload/sickness/family emergencies) where we may miss a Bonus Stage, but barring those things you can start to expect Bonus Stages on Wednesdays from here on out. We didn't want to make such a bold statement for Bonus Stage initially since we are already determined never to miss a LiA. By making this commitment, we feel more determined to push ourselves to the absolute limits for you guys! We love making these comics and we want to treat you guys with as much as we possibly can.

Speaking of adhering to a schedule, to be honest I wanted to have this one out early in the A.M. for you all but well... 4.1 dropped yesterday in WoW and I just had to go run once with the guys. We got halfway through Zul'Aman before we had to call it quits because it was too late. I had dragged Pie into it with us to run heals so we can fill out a full 5-man team and we both had a lot of fun.

We even had our first more solid raid experience last Saturday! I was on deeps on my priest with some decent results on Halfus; not too shabby for 350 iLvL and a couple missing enchantments (damn you Therazane!!). Apparently I could have done better if I DoTed Halfus along with the drakes, but it was our first time and I was just focused on burning the drakes ASAP. It was pretty awesome because we did it without a wipe on our first attempt! I seriously want to raid more!!

Did I mention we are recruiting awesome people to flesh out our core group? I'll be posting some guild/recruitment info soon and will post the link later!
