"A video game comic and blog that would have been awesome and relevant 10 years ago. Maybe." -Famous Website
Today’s comic is pretty simple and this post will be as well.
To be honest, after the comic from last week, Pie and I were pretty burnt out. It was easily our most ambitious comic for a one week schedule and we put a lot more work into it because it was a tribute to our guild and the fact that World of Warcraft has insanely detailed armor models. I almost felt like taking a week off to recover from it (mostly so I could work on other things), but after going so many months without skipping a beat we both feel like laziness just isn’t a big enough excuse to miss our deadline. As it stands now, we are so adamant about making our promised publish date that we don’t want any interruption. We both feel we must push forward with all of our effort so as not to disappoint both readers and ourselves.
Anyway, the result is a full visual comic that really has nothing to do with gaming at all. For some reason while discussing topics for this week, we got into the fact that it was Valentine’s Day. Pie and I don’t celebrate it (we’re always romantic) but she was wondering what the deal was behind edible panties. One thing led to another and we were laughing so hard that this comic was the result. Enjoy!

As Bear mentioned before, we got a copy of the movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World and it's such an awesomely amazing film. We saw it in theatres with friends a while back, but watching it a couple more times afterwards only enhanced the experience because it allowed me to pick up a number of details that I had missed the first time and it's just plain fun seeing it over again. It wreaks awesomeness! I'm really interested in reading the comics one day.
The Scott Pilgrim franchise is really inspiring. The story contains romance, comedy, and great fighting action; I'm not sure what else I can ask for really. -though if there were something else I'd like to see, adding it would probably be a bad idea since the movie is already so balanced as it is. I really wish that one day Bear and I can reach heights like the creator of Scott Pilgrim Brian O'malley has in his success. I've been thinking a lot for the past few weeks about how much I want to push forward with our dreams and to do all I can.
I know a few people have requested a comments section on our site to give feedback on any given comic. I’m still undecided if I want such a feature since I’d prefer something more than just advertisements for Viagra and free trips to the Caribbean. People can always check out our forums of course as it is a bit better at keeping out spammers. I know signing up for forums can be troublesome so I went ahead and started posting all the comics at Deviant Art. If you have a DA account and want to comment on the comic, check it out.
I’m still in the process of posting everything but it should all be up soon.
