We finally decided to go back to Persona 5. XD The reason we stopped playing it all the way back in June wasn't because we had lost interest, but because Final Fantasy 14's Storm Blood expansion launched and we wanted to seize the opportunity to join the hype along with our guildmates. =)
Going back to such a large JRPG where so many things are happening at once can be a little overwhelming, especially if you're like us and created a few trash save files, just so we can see what the results are if we were to answer a dialogue differently. @_@ Though the game's main narrative is linear, there are so many small things that we had on our mental priority list, like trying to get a character a must-have ability, but in order to do that, needing to focus on leveling our kindness, remembering where and when you can increase certain stats efficiently, and the bonuses by doing things on specific days of the week or in certain weather conditions. XD Thank goodness for the internet~ Things have been rolling well so far and I think we're finally getting back into the groove. =)
I always loved the system in the game about getting closer to your teammates, watching them grow, and seeing your hero's "friendship" with them blossom.~ =) There've actually been a few times in which we got kinda tired traversing the current dungeon and just wanted to go back to the daily planning and social link building aspect, especially when wiping after dungeoning for an hour or so just because of an unlucky encounter. >.<
Anyway, I really hope we pass it. =D It still really sucks that we never got around to passing Persona 4. ._. We were so far in and I'm not too fond of the idea of starting the whole game over from scratch, but I really don't like the idea of just hopping straight into the middle-end of the game without getting reacquainted with the world and the story events. @_@ At least, for Persona 5, it's only been a few months instead of a few years. If only Atlus remade Persona 4 with a female protagonist option.
