Now that we've been socializing more often, thanks in no small part to our FFXIV obsession, we've been more exposed to a certain aspect of human interaction. Whenever around people, you may notice that certain people can have personalities that can change the mood of everyone around them. Some people are very lively and charismatic, we hang on their every word and regale in their storytelling. Some people are very warm and comforting, and we can feel safe and loved in their presence. Then there are people like Pie...

Perhaps those people personify a personality type which makes them perfect for carrying a mood. You may notice that when they are around, we can't help but participate in kind, further spreading their energy throughout the room. It certainly makes things a lot of fun and I suppose that's why people get so attached to social gatherings like parties; there is always going to be someone there that knows how to have a good time. We are drawn to those people like moths to a flame so that we may bask in their energy and partake in the spirit.

Though she may oftentimes be quiet when faced with large group interactions, every once in a while we get to see Pie shine and let her personality take root. It's always a lot of fun and I know everyone in our group lights up because of her particular flavor.
