Fiona's Failed Forest

october 19, 2011

Today's comical amusement drawing is based on one of the optional time alteration quests in Chrono Trigger. The plucky NPC Fiona wishes for the impossible - to rebuild an entire forest on the now desert wastes. If only she had help that could stand up to hundreds of years of free, back breaking labor, she could accomplish her lofty goal. Well, we can't play the heroes if we don't chip in, and it just so happens that Crono's team is filled with adequate assistance.

I'm happy to be going back to doing another Chrono Trigger comic, as I always felt the last CT comic fell short in comedic punch. Pie liked it decently enough, but even she agrees it dragged on and probably could have been done better. I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out, so here's to hoping you all do too!

Today, Pie and I are heading to our shirt printer to do what is hopefully the last shirt verification. I checked back at our records, and we've been working on this now for 3 months, so I really hope that when we get these produced en masse they come out looking and feeling amazing. I'm pretty certain my OCD has covered as many bases as possible, which is great as Pie and I have always been passionate in producing the best stuff we can for you guys.

We will also be picking up a digital camcorder from my cousin to start playing around with our Kickstarter video. We're still not sure the direction we will take with the video, but it should be fun to play around with, so we'll see how it comes along and update you here as always. Things are really coming together now and it's getting exciting! Enjoy the rest of the week and see you again on Friday!

Recipe for Failure

october 15, 2011

I'm sorry to say that this Friday's comic has been cancelled. There were a number of factors that attributed to this, but I won't go into it. Ultimately, we were completely unsatisfied with how the comic came out, to the point that even though it was short and finished, it just wasn't at all funny or worthy of your time.

Pie and I will take the opportunity to refresh and come back stronger on Wednesday. Thanks.

P.S. As a consolation, here is a giraffe biting a land shark!
