"A video game comic and blog that would have been awesome and relevant 10 years ago. Maybe." -Famous Website
Soooo,.... Not one but two NeverEnding Story comics! Bear and I were in a movie watching mood lately and decided to take a look again at this one. XD I can't say it's one of my favorite movies, but it's definitely a strong and memorable one from my childhood that I watched numerous times. Aside from just recently, I hadn't seen it in over a decade; it's very interesting watching it again with more experienced eyes.
The film feels like a kids movie because of its young protagonist, seemingly simple characters, and its imaginative presentation, but It does however present an idea that I strongly believe in; that as we grow up, we shouldn't associate the idea of adulthood with the idea of discarding the part of us that is imaginative, playful, and whimsical and to keep our minds open to the idea of unknown possiblities. It's important to dream, hope, and wish for something out of our grasps and for the unkown; I think life would be very boring and depressing without it.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand." -Albert Einstein
