Ever since I played Viewtiful Joe and Okami, I've had a soft spot for Platinum Games. Though I've never played any of their other games, those two and their once-in-a-while, over the top later ones like God Hand, The Wonderful 101, and Bayonetta give me continuous hope that I'll continue seeing more craziness from them. It's refreshing to see games out there with a fun epic direction, without taking itself too seriously.
Bayonetta 2 will be coming out this month and apparently, it's pretty chock-full of cameos and fan service from Nintendo franchises, such as costumes, etc. One particular fan service that's gotten some hype is the Fox McCloud outfit and being able to pilot an Arwing from Starfox, complete with laser and bomb sound effects.
I was mildly curious about Bayonetta back when it first came out. I remember reading about how crazy the fighting system is, but I admit that because of her bizarre character design, I never really gave the demo much of a chance. It feels a bit shallow to say this, but because of her redesign for the sequel and the added Nintendo cameos, I'm kinda wanting to get the second game now. >.> -It comes with a port of the first game too, so it's a complete package! =D We don't exactly have a Wii U right now, but the system is shaping up to be a cool console I'd want to get one day. -now, where are the RPG's? =x
Life in Aggro had its first (and second) Google Hangouts session with Patreon patrons this month! =D I'm happy to have met, spent the time chatting with, laughing, and having fun with the people who came; I don't normally get a chance to socialize with people with similar interests. XD I kept thinking about how I was really looking forward to the next one the day after. It's made me happy a number of times this past week. Thanks again guys for the good time. =)
