"A video game comic and blog that would have been awesome and relevant 10 years ago. Maybe." -Famous Website
So many games lately seem to be revisiting classics for a new generation of players and to cash in on nostalgic older gamers. It might be in everyone’s best interest that Pie and I are not on the game creation side of things. Otherwise, strange things may be born from twisted minds that would pull from multiple angels of popular culture. Strange and quite possibly, a little bit of awesome.
To be honest, I don’t quite remember how we got on topic to games from our child hood. I don’t even know how we ended up with such odd combinations. But in script writing, it is certainly not uncommon for the conversation to turn from one extreme to the other, as the mind connects wildly disparate synaptic pathways that generate these ideas. With that said, we hope you find the humor in this comic!
I don’t have much to say regarding the game industry today. Squeenix has cut some staff from FFXIV as they flail about trying to save their mess of an MMO while at the same time post drastically dimmer results then estimates. Of course, with a drop as large as 92% of forecasted earnings, you can’t help but feel they fudged the numbers slightly in their favor (stock manipulation, maybe?). I can’t say I’m too surprised.
The year is coming to a close and Christmas is only a week away, so I hope everyone is enjoying or will enjoy their vacation time. Look forward to possibly a Christmas themed Life in Aggro next week. Maybe Manager Santa will make a return; maybe tiny Tim will make an appearance. Who knows – but I promise nothing.
I find it interesting and fun that the number of appearing Tyrannosaurs in our comics is on the rise. XD I'm sorry if things have been getting kinda gory lately. First it's the Kinect/Wii situation, now this. o_< I hope you guys find if funny though! XD
The past few weeks have been feeling really wearing to me; there always seems to be something that has to be done! I feel like I'm almost always busy, though I admit I've spent plenty of time to sleep (12 hrs for the past two days each), eat, and take showers. It often feels though that I'm still tired for a while after getting up even after I've slept for so long. I wonder if maybe it's because I'm sick, because it's winter, or maybe something else. It appears that I might have brought a cold back home with me from somewhere because Bear seems to have caught one. I've been feeling pretty out of it. I'm very much looking forward to a couple of days when I can and deserve the time to sit around and do nothing.
