Okay it has been too long since the last story was written, so I shall write the next part.
I am just making this up as I go along cos I wanna get it finished before maint finishes so I can get some juicy juicy 2x exp :D

Part 4
________________________________________________________

Wiz thought for a second and realised the only way to save Spartan as well as his precious traps would be to use some sort of ranged attack or magic.
He turned to Zarguss and requested that he cast an ME over the Dark Illusion.

“Sorry Wiz,” replied Zarguss, “It’s been so long since the last chapter that I sort of rebirthed and became a Full Support High Priest”

“Oh… okay then, Meg! Please cast Storm Gust on it” said a more desperate Wiz.

Everyone waited for the usual Amp sound followed by a storm gust, but there was none to be heard. Subaru and her micromanaging took over from Wiz and asked Meg to storm gust again, but even that produced no result.

“Meg…? Where is she? Don’t tell me the Dark Lord has taken another lovely lady from Fairy Tail!” said Rice Krispy.

Rice and the rest of Fairy Tail stopped paying attention to Spartan’s dilemma and started looking around for Meg.

Kyoko, who wasn’t really looking for Meg but trying to find a Bubble Ice Tea Vender in the castle, suddenly piped up, “Oh here she is guys… except she has changed out of her High Wizard clothes and into some male Scholar costume”

Meg looked nervous and gave a small cough “Um hi Guys. I’m not Meg, I’m her brother, Carlos. Meg has to uh… go… somewhere… … so she asked me to take over for her.”

Barb took an instant liking too him and offered to show Carlos (or Nutmeg as she decided to call him) around Alberta when (or if) they got back from rescuing Ramil.

Spartan started getting angry (more so) and reminded everyone of the proximity of the Dark Illusion and his lack of arrows.

Wiz racked his brains for the next bright idea, “ah I know, Neraid, Double Strafe it!”

Neraid replied “Sorry Wiz but I haven’t learnt Double Strafe! It seems I only have the mental capacity to remember one other skill at a time”

Wiz was getting close to pulling out his hair when Neraid saved his follicles by saying “But I have a better idea!”

Neraid then did a giant flying kick over the traps and right on top of the Dark Illusion. He then performed a brilliantly pulled off Full Strip, and then flying kicked his way back to Wiz.

The rest of Fairy Tail let off a round of applause for a few seconds before they were interrupted by Spartan’ s voice saying “Well thanks a lot guys… I still have no arrows, the Dark Illusion is still advancing, except now I have the viewing pleasure of seeing it naked!”

Mocha puffed out his chest and said “Never fear, Sparty Pants, for I shall rescue you!”
And he snapped towards the Dark Illusion, but instead of the resulting G-fist everyone was expecting, he scooped it up in his arms.

Ryu was sure he heard him whisper to it “Don’t worry, my pretty, I won’t let them harm you”

Then Mocha snapped away again, still cradling the Dark Illusion in his arms, and screeched “You’re pathetic guild can never defeat the all mighty Dark Lord! Mwahhaha” and was gone.

Noone said anything for a moment, then Wiz rubbed his hands together and said “Righty ho then, let’s head towards the emp!” as if nothing had happened.

But first they had to wait about 30 minutes as Spartan carefully removed each trap and placed them lovingly in his bum bag.

Ryu was getting more and more frustrated, “Come on guys, we need to rescue Ramil!”

Mel was surprised that Ryu cared that much about her, and told him so.

Ryu looked embarrassed and muttered something about Ramil still owing him a large amount of zeny.

Hayato broke the awkward silence that followed by saying “is this going to take much longer? I have to get back to give Kanta his bath, and then I have a date with Subaru so she can touch my hair”

Spartan stopped oiling his traps at this comment and shot a questioning glance at Sub.
“Don’t worry” she said “it’s only the hair on his head”

“ARRRGGGHHH!!!” shouted Wiz startling all. “I’m sick of this! I’m sick of how we always ALWAYS make these great plans (mvping, battle grounds, Endless Tower, etc) and then only ever half arse them!” He then punctuated his next words by shaking his fist “We Are Going To Rescue Ramil If It Is The Last Thing We Do!”

The seriousness of his words made a big change over everyone, and they stood up with a new resolve in their eyes. They crowded around the portal to the emp room automatically placing the fatties at the front without being told to.

Wiz looked at them with a new appreciation and said “Right, let’s do this! On the count of three, 1.. 2…”

To be continued!

P.S when I was originally thinking about the story this morning at the gym, I hadn't read the previous chapters for ages. So I thought the monster attacking spartan was a wraith dead. So when I was thinking about Neraid full stripping the monster, and mocha loving it, it was cracking me up so much thinking about it being a wraith dead.
And I was like imagining it shivering towards spartan totally naked.

Awesome Story Sub! I love how you incorporated some of the 'changes' in to the story!

Note though that (unlike wraiths dead), normal Dark Illusions are boss property so can't be full stripped... :P

Here's a little bit for the brainstorming session Mel.

Before our very eyes- we see three groups of people. All warring on different fronts to reach one ultimate goal: complete dominance over all things in our universe.

On the one front- a certain faction thirsts for power. They raise their underlings with great care to how to apply their strengths, and how to expose the weaknesses of others. These are the men of war- the combatants of old; their stories are of giants with six fingers on each hand, and 7 toes on each foot. They are mighty men of legend, who slay bears, and lions, and dragons before coming home to dinner. And even within this group - there is no unity. They all go at each other as wolves to the rotten carcase; ravenous, and barbaric. We see them creating guilds with men and women from all walks of life- from Knights to sages, wizards and monks. Priests are no stranger to this territory, for even their minds can be corrupted with this thirst. Power is manifested in many forms- in magick and in strength; and there is none that can compare to these. Because the art of their training is so intense- and the result being so overwhelmingly destructive, our people have had a tough time dealing with this lot.

the second group seeks dominance through influence. These are the politicking individuals. They use their silver tongue to influence those around them to join in on their quest. These men are only heard of, but rarely are they seen; mostly we deal with their lower ranked generals or lieutenants. Their guilds are large in number- and their members are all solid on the same mindset as their master and commander. It is impossible to even fathom that one of their ranks would defect or deer from their leader's cause- but on rare occassion, as often as the moons of endor turn blue- one comes from this darkness and proceeds to the light. Men who have dared to utter ill of one of these so-called "great ones", have sometimes been found later dismembered in a random narrow alleyway of some distant city- or even in some cases, have never been seen or heard from again. The words of these politikers are absolute- and to question them is to set yourself up for ridicule. To disobey them is certainly a plea for death. If any of our words were to be considered as good as gold- then theirs' hold much greater value. They CRAP gold, and their men love to have it so. With these, we see their leaders grinning at each other and speaking well of each other; but we only take what we see. What we know is that their striving to be at the top, and both are using the same means to get there. Although theirs is not a group with as many brutal individuals as that first example; their words are sharper than any sword the first could carry. with just a few choice words, they can slice a man in half, and leave him out to bleach in the Morroc sun. Yes, they smile at each other with flatteries before cameras; but underneath is but a forked tongue, with arrows behind it.

And yet we have still a third group to consider. Theirs is a different bend altogether; but theirs is the most effective means of dominance- whether it be in our universe or the next; money. Certain assassins only carry out their tasks if their financial burdens are met. The priests and bishopric offer salvation only at the greasing of the palm; monks find themselves unleashing the power of hell's fury- for a price. Crusaders for hire. Knights on hourly duty. Mages with wages. The Salaried hunter. Those that belong in this group understand the positions of the first two- but have come to the conclusion that the only way for power to be had, and influence to be spread: is through money. They can buy influence. Their pocketbooks can afford a concoction that would increase their strengths; in fact- they are paying a group of researchers to study how one could attain this power. These merchants are the center of trade, the corner in any market, and the ring on any woman's finger. Their guilds have the best in equipment- their castles are always supplied with the latest technologies, and their potions are always at the top of the list. You see them on the streets often times, looking at the prices of their competitors- and setting up their shop with the same merchandise, but being 10% lower than the other guy. These are the men of the unseen war- the battle of prices within our very streets; and all of them are about to hit the wall.

The story- i believe- has gone beyond Mocha and the Dark Lord-
The true tale lies in what is unfolding before us: a great alliance being formed to keep certain individuals from tipping the balance of power to their favor. Guilds that would normally be at each other's throats now putting their differences aside, and banding together to eliminate the current, and common threat. Kinda reminds me of a game of thrones- if anyone is familiar with that story.
