Chapter 2: Premonition of War
"Alright, LET'S DO THIS!" proclaimed Spartan. "So is everyone ready now?" asked Mel. While everyone appeared to be anxiously ready for the battle ahead, Wiz was the only one still preparing for the journey. "Hold up guys i'll just need another minute" said Wiz. "Come on hurry up man, the Dark Lord is probably having his way with Ramil by now, we don't have time to waste!" said Spartan. "Hey, don't rush me. Sorry I don't have to just pick out which flavor of arrows i'll need and then be done." said Wiz in a forceful tone. " Spartan now a bright shade of pink was squeezing his bow so hard that if he gripped it any tighter it would surely shatter. "Whatever i'm gonna go on ahead and kill Dark Lord myself then" replied Spartan. "Suit yourself Sparty Pants" said Wiz, and watched spartan teleport off into the unknown by himself. A few members were now quite curious about the path of which to even get down to the cave where the Dark Lord was, but no sooner did Melonade speak up over the random chit chat to impart knowledge onto the younger members of the guild who had not yet traveled further then Louyang by themselves. "Oh don't worry about getting there you guys" Mel said, "I could travel to that underground prison with my eyes closed, i'd be glad to warp us to the dungeon entrance, and I should still have the memo from when I use to level there as an acolyte."
Subaru was making sure that the whole guild was in it's correct party for their levels. If she wasn't getting any experience from going to save Ramil then Subaru probably wouldn't of wanted to go help at all. "ALRIGHT I'M READY!" shouted Wiz, startling a few members. Everyone started rising to their feet, Falcons were now flying overhead ready for battle, Wizards were energizing their coats (whatever that means), and priests were saying prayers left and right. Just as Melonade went to cast a warp portal, Subaru shouted out "WAIT, where the heck is Mocha?! Without him we really don't stand a chance against the Dark Lord, seeing as how Spartan is probably already dead since he rushed ahead by himself and all." "You're right said Mel, maybe we should give up, I don't think we can do this without him" but just then, when it seemed that all hope was lost, Mocha appeared in the distance. Now snapping towards the guild at lightning speed Mocha finally arrived. "Sorry guys, I was just killing some people in pvp, getting a little warmed up you know?" A look of relief passed over the faces of the guild as they were all thinking they were goners. Subaru slapped a hand on her thigh and said, "Now we have a real chance at victory, a real chance! I can feel it in my bones. Bones like stone, they say" Now everyone looking over at Subaru like she was crazy. "You feeling alright Sub?" said Mel "Anyways we'd better get going already, if we wait to long it'll be too dark out for us to see the Abysmal Knights, surely giving them an advantage if they decide to attack us." Wiz was just finishing up giving some blue potions to Mocha for Guillotine Fist, as soon as he finished he said "OK, Let's warp out".
Fairy Tail was now creating a mass exodus from Alberta as they embarked on their journey into the night. Once they all appeared on the other side, Wiz started to go over battle plans making sure to remind everyone not to go ahead of him unless they wished to die a horrible, horrible death. "and don't forget the pneumas around us, that's our key defense to Dark Lords attacks! Also be careful Mocha, the Dark Lord isn't as forgiving as that pussy cat Eddga that you love so much. We are all going to have to work together on this if we want to live to see another day" Neraid then popped out from stalking to say something seemingly important, and just as everyone noticed he was there, "I forgot what I was going to say" and went back into cloak. As the guild entered the dungeon everyone simultaneously got a strange feeling in the pits of their stomach, and started to get serious about what was to come. "Something definitely isn't right" said Wiz, "Let's hurry".
