I remember that old (and frankly, quite horrible) movie.
You know, whoever came up with the idea for Twitch Plays Pokemon is a genius. They don't even have to *do* anything, just let the chaos unfold and check up on it to make sure it doesn't crash. And with The Internet controlling the game, it's guaranteed that they will be streaming for a long, long time due to the chaos. To make matters worse (or better), Twitch streaming and chat are famously desynched, often in excess of 15 seconds. All this combines to make a channel that will have a very high view count for a very long time.
