Well, I am stuck in NYC due to bad weather next flight out is Friday at 7pm. I am in the process of uploading all the pictures right now. Maybe I will write up the entry for the trip tonight or tomorrow.

Yikes! I got stuck in NYC at JFK in a snowstorm with my family. Hopefully this won't negatively affect your overall experience though. I'm super excited to see the pictures and hear about your adventure, but like Wilbur said make sure you can get home safely first!

Home. Finally home. But right now, my bed needs to hug me until tomorrow morning. It's needy like that.

Ok going to write the log for our central park/Met date WITH PICTURES!!!

We jumped onto the train heading into Manhattan and we are greeted by some musicians.

And even though they were playing a western folk song and just changing the words to Spanish, it was very cool.

We arrived at Grand Central Station and damn is that place big! It is like a small underground city. Unfortunately, due to it being underground, it is also quite dark so several pictures didn't turn out well.

Bought sandwich meats, bread, some over-priced fancy mustard, and root beer and headed to Central Park where we had a wonderful picnic under a tree.

Even had a classical violinist playing just a little way off from us. It was a very romantic setting.

Then we walked through the park to the Met, which is huge. This is just the front. It extends for several blocks

Awesome, looks like a really cool visit Xela! Can't wait to see more =) Also, the last picture of the front of the Met is a repeat of the violinist picture.
