So, I love my car. His name is Dorian and he's a Saturn Ion. With back suicide doors. Tuesday I took him in to get an oil change and ended up needing a few other things done, air filter, break fluid, etc. So it ended up being about $140. Even got a free tire rotation, woots.
Yea, not so woots actually. Wednesday on the way to work my car dips and I hear an ominous pop. I've had flat tires before. Two. And I hate them. Slowly pull over to the 7-11 on the corner, and yep, it's a flat. The last flat I dealt with was actually on Roll's car, and it kicked our asses. We couldn't get that thing off to save our lives. We actually had to call a company to come change it. I dunno how much I've shared about that, but I love doing technical and automotive stuff. Used to help my dad work on our cars all the time. So calling someone was an absolute last resort. Knowing that my tires were just rotated the day before I know there is absolutely no way I'm going to be able to change this thing.
Now, that isn't as bad as it sounds because I have OnStar, though it took them 30 minutes to get out there to change it, which I knew would happen because it took that long the last two times. But the last two times it happened right as I was arriving at work, so I wasn't late. Yea, not so much this time. Luckily my boss and coworkers are very understanding and didn't mind. I just hate being late.
Anyways, yea, tires.
