Guild Wars 2 - Player Info

I'm just curious as to how we will be communicating with each other when playing. Will we use the in game team speak thing or will we use a thing like ventrillo.

We used Ventrilo during the beta, it's likely we'll being doing the same when the game releases/next beta. There's also a handy guild chat built in.

Yeah, Ventrilo is usually the best bet Fixxxer. For people without mics or prefer not to be on vent, guild chat will suffice. GW2 has a distinct and unobtrusive chime/ding that plays when there is a new chat entry, making it easy for people to know when other are chatting. I personally prefer vent because I kinda hate to break my gameplay to type unless I happen to be in town or something.

All right, well now that that's cleared up the only thing left is to actually play the game.

From what it sounds like most people are saying Water Elementalist is the most healish class so that's what I'll be playing. My character will be named Farore Eldin.

Guild Wars 2 pre-purchased and downloading. I'll definitely be on Sunday for the Beta weekend, Roll might play some Friday/Saturday because I'll be working then have my WoW raid Saturday nights.

But Yay! I'm excited to play with everybody.

Who is playing what this weekend? I will probably be trying out another new class for this weekend, probably a norn thief. Kinda sad that Sylvari and Asura STILL aren't playable; I was looking forward to that.
