I showed this to my friend and one of the first things he noticed was the Ness used 512 pp in one battle, saying that they must have been really hard enemies because that is a, quote "poop load" of pp.

I don't think we've ever thought about attributes, but I can imagine Bear as being a fire user. XD I think so much PP was drained because that big bunny probably acts as a magic hammer lol

Pie and I were really happy to see the comic so well received. This is another comic in the bunch that we thought probably wouldn't do so well, then suddenly find out that quite a number of people like it. It's funny when that happens because we were really looking at it thinking...eh. its decent but will people get it? haha

So yeah! Earthbound is a lot of fun and I'm really happy that Pie and I went back to play this not long ago. It was her first time seeing the game and it was my first time beating it! I got all the way up to right before Tenda Village on my first play through I don't know how many years ago that was. I think I was severely under leveled and simply could not beat the boss battle before you get there. It was really rewarding going back and seeing the game and what makes it special now. Especially knowing to grind a bit in key areas to make sure the game was a nice breeze through XD

How does the fire not singe off all your fur? And this Bunny Pie Hammer... does Bear wield said hammer or is it a self controlled hammer? So many questions!

I love that you guys go back and do some of the comics on older games. I haven't played them all, but a lot of the comics are still funny. The ones that I don't get usually Roll can explain to me, and again they still end up being funny! When you refer to older games I haven't played I want to go find them that instant. And that kind of goes for any of the games you refer to that I haven't played. Like the one. I was like... oh my that poor... thing. By some stroke of luck Roll hadn't yet traded in Abyss so I started playing it. Now every time there's any banter between Mieu and Luke I immediately think of the comic.
