Basically, Pokemon + Final Fantasy Tactics in one~ (Gameplay-wise)

It's coming out in the US on 18th June for the DS (no EU release announced yet)

Um.. commentary? Opinions? Chatter?

WANT!!! I've played two different versions of Tactics (though, I should give some more time to the original version I have) and I've enjoyed both. Now, Pokemon is such a large part of my childhood that it isn't even funny. Mixing those two together will be like eating Reese's for the first time. Translation: AMAZING!!!

I saw this thread when you posted yet I still somehow forgot to reply to it...in any case, I'm intrigued. It probably won't be the best game ever, even the best pokemon game ever, but it looks fun and this can tide me over till Fire Emblem makes its way over =P

I'm still confused about the crossover though...I'm just wondering why? There are plenty of characters to throw around from the pokemon games...maybe there's some kinda explanation in the game.

What I'd want is a Pokemon console MMORPG. Seriously, why can't you just give us some nice character creation options, let us choose our home region and our starter Pokemon and shove us out the door to take on the world. What the heck, Nintendo? Let us team up to travel with our friends and take on all 5 regions (throw in the Orange Islands for funsies, too). It'd be perfect, just make it already!

Well they sorta already have one Crispy...on Wiiware and 3DS they have Pokemon Rumble where you play as a pokemon and go through dungeons beating down swarms of other pokemon. It's fairly simple but still fun.

I don't think Nintendo is ready for an MMO. You have seen how they handled online play for their consoles and handhelds, right?
