Just unclick use push to talk mode. It'll always be on then. Although that means you might give off a constant hum from you mic. Try and set your sensitivity to ignore you when not talking.

Although you can disable PTT, it is generally difficult to find the perfect level where it picks up perfectly for speech but not for other noises. Also, be careful too because disabling PTT can make it so you accidentally talk over others and pick up things that should not be audible to everyone else, making you look silly/inconsiderate in the process.

I usually put my PTT on the "back" button on my MS explorer or use the left control key as it is close to WASD.

Mumble and Vent are both great. I don't much care for Steam voice chat, either. Lol.

I started playing Terraria and I don't suck entirely. I've only died about 3 times from zombies. Have 2 awesome houses that are way too far away from each other... Made some pretty nice additions to one of them today.

Also,How do I start getting armor or getting supplies for armor? I'm getting kind of tired of having no defense...

Wilbur you can craft armor if you get enouph ores. if you wan't you can look at the crafting recepies on the wiki.

I started playing it the other day, when we started the steam group, I have just about no idea what I am doing, but I enjoy fighting off the zombies hahaha. oh collecting the stars is fun to feel like I am in mario.
