LiA #47 - Dark Harvest

Woo! An Odin Sphere comic. One of the big things I've heard about this one was that the last couple of frames were confusing. At first we were going to have the girl running away as if she was going to hurl from the idea of having lamb for dinner after reading the story about the baby sheep. We decided to change it because we thought, maybe that is the expected reaction and it might be more funny if, despite a relatively cute sheep being killed in its sleep and eaten, she was super excited to eat.

What do you think would have been more effective? Did this one make you laugh or was it confusing that the first 3 rows are the story the little girl is reading in the last row?

I love Odin Sphere and that prolly skews my opinion on this one but I wasn't confused cause obviously I know the characters so I know what's going on. Maybe the layout of the panels could've been done differently though to sorta separate them more to make it a bit more clear? I'm not sure.

In any case, I love Gwen's look/expressions in the last 3 panels and I like the rhyme going along with the comic as a whole. I know you guys have done it for a few others just thought I'd point it out that it's not something many other webcomics do very much or at all (I think VGcats maybe did it once? I forget) and always gives a good overall effect to the strip.

I like that the strip pointed out the sheep growing though, cause I had a real WTF moment when I saw it in game, lol.

Even though I liked playing Muramasa a lot more overall there's a lot I really like about Odin Sphere also and I am all for anything they do at this point.
