Hmm...I feel like its really tough to find good management though, so changing on that basis may be a bad idea. If you can get to the point where you can largely ignore them and don't let them ruin your days, then that would be the best advice I could give.
One thing that I might suggest if you are really interested in moving on is being on the lookout for good people that you would want to work for or alongside. Field some questions with the staff and ask how they like their jobs and what they think of management. The best way to get a candid response is by asking people you are friends with. Look for a happy work force and let that be your guide; a little effort and training may be in order, but the payoff could be huge. Keep an open mind as to what you do, you might find a drastic change into an off field with great coworkers to be a refreshing change that will revitalize you =)
