Pie I kind of know how you feel. I've traveled overseas a few times and bizarrely one of the things I miss the most is the weather. I always feel comfortable at home and it's weird not having that feeling. For instance, we spent 2011 Christmas in Germany and it was strange waking up to knee deep snow instead of the heat. When we were in Tokyo it rained really heavily for at least two days straight and I've never seen something like that before. You just miss the familiar feelings. The same could be said with changing school. I've been to four different schools in my life, spending varying amounts of time at each, and the hardest part is not making new friends, it's leaving the old ones. I guess it gets easier as you grow older and more mature, or with frequency but you do think back every now and then and realise that in the end, you made the right decision.

On an unrelated topic, I have the last inch or so of a knife somewhere in my room, and I have no idea where it is. /hmm

I do the impossible, like skiing through a revolving door.

Finally moved off base and am starting to realize I might have gotten too big of an appartment. Place looks kind of empty with just a beanbag chair in one room and an air matress in the other.

I of course fixed this, by covering every last inch of floor space in the living room with DVD and Video Game cases. Also, a mysterious Futon appeared from my parents today, so I guess that kind pulls the living room together.

On a more crappy note, I am having my three day veteran's day weekend once again post-poned because I have to work an event. Could be worse, though.

On the above topics: I prefer long text message conversations over phone calls, as I kinda suck at talking on the phone and I have all the time in the world to retype whatever stupid thing I would've said that would've just killed the conversation.
And I have no attachment to any place I've ever lived. Not sure if that's cause I just don't care about that sort of thing or if I just haven't lived anywhere worth remembering.
I am not a reasonable man.

Yeesh, I fix my brakes and everything is all fine, and then I run off the road in a construction zone (pulling a turn I couldn't quite make). Now I need to replace my engine cradle. Good fun. I'll figure it out though.

Anyway, I mostly prefer to text. Part of it is because I hate talking on the phone. Just hate it. I'm socially inept as it is, and I never seem to be able to arrange my thoughts when I'm talking on the phone. Especially when making calls to businesses and such. If I can just go somewhere and talk to someone in person I much prefer to do that. The other reason I prefer texting is that I can read my message before I send it and realize it when I'm about to say something stupid or pointless. I know I've started a lot of texts that I've never sent just because what I was about to say was completely pointless. That said, I do still send long winded texts about things I could just wait to tell somebody when I see them next, but I think I've cut that down a good deal.

Actually writing something for once. It's not what I wanted to be working on, but at least it's writing.

College is going well. My semester ends December 20th, though I could be out before then. This semester was cool since I got to take both a figure drawing class and a digital art class. I'll plug my Deviantart here somewhere along the line. Next semester I'm taking a couple courses I have to get out of the way to really open up my possibilities for sophomore year. I'm sort of annoyed because I had a really cool schedule lined up, but when I went to register, I found out that I had to sign up for 2 different computer science classes together and take rhetoric as a pre-requisite for a ton of other classes. I can't even start my minor in creative writing without that stupid rhetoric class. At least it'll be more opinion-based than my other classes will.

I've met this girl at school who likes me and I find her interesting too. We've been hanging out a bit, playing video games and watching My Little Pony, this semester and I really want to try to get into a relationship with her. Though she's from out of state, she'll be staying here this Christmas because of some issues with her family, so I'll probably get to hang out with her some more and keep her company this holiday.

This other community I've joined has been trying to organize a competitive TF2 league for brony teams, but we haven't made as much progress as we wanted to at this point. We intended to have at least 8 teams, with the 6 original teams that made up our community making up the largest portion of this lineup. So far, there have only been 4-5 teams that have signed up and we're still waiting to hear from about half of the teams in order to meet our new kickoff day in January. I'm sort of sad because our community isn't as active as it used to be, though that could change later. The worst part is that our forum, Trottingham.net, had to be shut down because the site owner forgot that he was out of funds to rent the server. Now we have no place for signups and no place for our community to chat and goof around in.

Despite that, I'm glad I have Life in Aggro to come to when life is difficult. I know just about everyone here and that really helps when I need to talk about something. Thank you guys for making this such a great community to be with. We need to hang out more on Steam this holiday. I think some Dungeon Defenders is in order. /no1

And now my new baby is all put together. I even took some while its cables were showing.

Now if only Steam would download all that stuff I bought during their sales that wouldn't work on my old computer faster. :P
