So apparently I suck at forums so IRC anyone?

I suck at forums. I really do. This style of communication is obviously not verycompatible with me. But IRC on the other hand, that seems to be my jam. And I really want to get to know everyone on the forum so I am unwilling to stop reading and just give up. As such, I have a proposal.

Would anyone be up for a Life in Aggro IRC channel on chatspike or something similar?

I could set it up. Not the best with the technical IRC stuff, but I know where to find help. It wouldn't be hard to set it up and get it going. If there is enough of an interest, I would be more than willing to put in the effort.

That sounds like it could be fun. Would this be browser-based or would it run in an installed application?

Well you could use mibbit, but mibbit kind of sucks so I suggest using a client. For Windows, Hexchat is awesome and easy. Not as advanced as others but it is great for beginners who don't need all the scripting and what not.

I think that the best bet for IRC style communication with our group would be through Steam and the Steam group. That really seems to be the best congregating ground for us. I know it doesn't keep a persistent chat record (at least afaik) like some IRC thingies do, but I feel like trying to get such a small group of people spread out across too many different forms of communication will limit its effectiveness~
