I JUST had one of these freak out moments...but here it is again...OH. MY. GOD.
First off, late reply to this since we just got back from San Diego, but we left literally on that last day of the kickstarter and the hype was CRAZY. Now, I had heard about the project when it had started, but through random video suggestions through youtube I went full circle and figured I'd see how it was doing...only to find all this stuff had already been funded and there were TWO HOURS LEFT.
Since I saw there was a steam code with the $36 option, I was like "sure, I'll pay up for that...but it's too bad it doesn't look like it'll make enough for that 5th character..." Then, as the time was going by, I was reloading that page faster and faster, reading the comments, checking the funds, checking the possible choices for fan voted characters...the hype was crazy. I was also talking to The Nesta at the time as he was reloading like crazy too. It's kinda one of those "you had to be there" moments, cause it's kinda hard to describe, but it was freakin exciting, seriously.
Sorry, had to try and describe that even though I'm sure it sounds stupid lol. In any case, perfect timing on an awesome comic. Not only does it look really great, but it also features two of my favorite picks, Minette (cause she's supposed to be similar to Tatsunoko VS Capcom Roll...and is adorable), and Annie. The action and posing looks great, I hope it wasn't TOO taxing on you guys, but I'd say it was worth it as it looks super good. Aside from all that the joke was good too, I guess news of Zone getting in is pretty common knowledge all around lol.
I may have to get a print of this one too...lol
