Yeah I don't understand why people go out of their way to mock other people for having a lower skill level or lesser knowledge. I don't have as strong an emphasis on going in without preparation, but there are times when I do prefer it, at least once. I think I like it more lately, because I know that despite wanting to be a completionist, I never will be, so I'm not worried about making sure I don't miss anything. At the same time, I really hate losing. If I can learn something from the loss and successfully apply new knowledge then there is a feeling of gratification, but if I can't then I just get really frustrated. Especially so when I feel like I was doing better the last few tries and now I'm doing worse. I think it depends on the game. If the difficulty is about strategy and you can win by finding the right approach, them I'm down with learning (more or less). If the difficulty is just that the enemy does a ton of damage no matter what you do, then I lose the will to play through a sequence multiple times.
Either way, though, you should play in the way that allows you to have fun. Like you said, that is the point.
Love all the character artwork in this one.
