AM2!

So Roll and I drove out to AM2 Saturday and had a great time! We got to check out a bunch of artist and vendors, and hang out with Bear and Pie! We also got way too much stuff, so much stuff that it seems a little bit like... Loot Porn!



First off a cute little with a bunch of black cats from different Anime.

I checked out another booth and got a print.

I went back to one of the vendors and had to get a because I finally had a reason and opportunity to get one!

We headed to the Artist's Alley again and picked up two more prints, one of and a second of a

I also got a Triforce decal for my car that I'm too lazy to go take of picture of right now.

And last, but definitely not least, we got to hang out with the best artists in the Alley, The Authors of Life in Aggro! Roll was able to pick up a Sand Endless Quest Shirt, and we picked up our prints, which I have to say turned out Beautiful!

When I went to Walmart earlier I got some frames, but the smaller ones turned out to be a little too... small so I only have three of them right now.

The pictures just can't do them justice. They were among the largest prints we saw at the con too. Overall we had a great time and can't wait to go to another con!

Yeah we had a lot of fun, although Bear and Pie...especially Pie, kept worrying that we were bored, lol. Mainly we just wanted to go to , the con was icing on the cake =P It WAS really fun and exciting seeing people enjoying the comics at their table (we hung out behind with them a buncha times) and greeted people as they came by, urging them to take a postcard to see more online.

I wish I had taken more pictures but for some reason I just wasn't thinking about it as we wandered around looking and everything and hung out talking with them. There was a buncha good cosplayers too but the only pic I took of any was this which I shoulda taken a pic the first time cause the Blackstar was tired at this point (it is tiring being such a big man as Blackstar). In any case, we saw the Maka and Blackstar while walking and we were like "that is ADORABLE!" and I could tell the girl heard cause she got all happy, which was more adorable, lol. We were convinced we're totally making our future kids do that lol.

For the last few hours though we just spent it hanging out with Bear and Pie at the table which was fun. I only wish I had just called in to work the next day so we coulda done more =/ Especially considering by the time I got to work I was 10 minutes late (though I stayed a lil later to make it up), my throat was sore (from yelling over loud music), and was super tired the whole time x.x It was very much not fun, dunno why I didn't think to call in, oh well.

You two are so lucky! AM2 looks a lot less otaku-ish than other anime cons I've been too and I love that they focus on music and movies. It would have been great to meet Bear and Pie too. I'm glad you guys had fun and I hope it was a great experience for Bear and Pie.

Yeah, this was a great first experience as far as con-going went. It was great to have the emotional support of Roll and Farore there, which was really cool. It was a smallish con, which was great for us to test the waters on and figure out what we should be doing better in the future, such as table layout and having shirts and what not more organized and ready.

We had a couple readers come by and that was really awesome. One named Forrest came by on both days and it was really nice to chat with him. I meant to send him the Outlaw Bunny wallpaper as a thank-you gift for the print he picked up, but I didn't realize that the company we use to take cards hid customer e-mails from us, which is kinda weird.

And yeah, I did feel like it was kinda more boring than it could have been because Pie and I were pretty exhausted after the con. We ended up sleeping all day Sunday and resting most of Monday after the con because the last month has been so hectic.
