So if you don't want any expectations for the game, don't read what i'm about to say.



So i recently beat kingdom hearts 3 and as a long time fan and i say that with the fact i've only really played 1-3 i feel that kingdom hearts 3

1.) is a really fun game to play and i mean really fun, probably the best gameplay in the whole series.

2.) is a huge floppy disappointment

i have a lot of reasons for why i say this, and they all delve into spoilers. so i will leave this first post as a warning, do not continue reading this discussion if you do not want spoilers. whenever someone who is curious wants to ask or discuss the game, then i will share my thoughts below.

I've never really played the series, but I have a couple of friends who played KH3 and they liked it a lot. There was a lot of discussion about how KH1 came out 17 years ago though, so the things you expect out of the game back then are different than what you expect now. Still, to each their own! :)

my main gripes with it is just related to story problems, the conclusion, and overall shortness of the game. we waited a long time for this game to come out and all that it really delivered in was gameplay. i guess thats all you could ask for, but i would of liked to have more to experience than what was shown pre-launch. a few surprises, maybe a reason to return to worlds already visited like previous games did and not a cliffhanger for the game that was supposed to be the end of the series.
