You take turns counting cars and such going in the opposite direction. Various vehicles are worth different amounts of points/runs and a red car is 'out' and the end of your turn.
A single car is 1 point
A trailer is worth 1 point, plus one if carrying a vehicle
A ute with a turtle shell is 2 points
A motor home is 3 points
Ambulances are 4 points
Buses are 4 points
Trucks are 5 points, plus 1 for each trailer
Car carriers are 5 if empty, 10 if full
Super cars are 10 points
Racing team trucks are 20 points
Passenger trains are 250 points
Freight trains are 500 points
Vehicles with caterpillar tracks are plus 4 points, excluding tanks and half-tracks which are worth 7 points
Military vehicles are worth double points, excluding tanks and half-tracks which are worth 7 points
Non-commercial cars with decals/paint jobs are double
Motorcycles are 0.5 points and are rounded down at the end of your turn
Cyclists are minus 1 point
A vehicle identical to yours is 10 points i.e. paint, model, year, body features, *any customisations make the bonus void*
There you go, I've probably missed some, but I haven't played in a while
You can make your own rules like having colours as multipliers or different manufacturers as bonuses, it's really up to you
