my next break's in ten or eleven weeks then two weeks in the fourth term before my final exams. And about your friend not being completely unpacked, We rebuilt our house just over four years ago and still haven't unpacked all the boxes

That's how I felt at the start of the semester, but things ended up working out... so far anyway lol. I'm sure things look tough though. Just gotta take it a day/week at a time man. I think you'll do well

Thanks Chrisb, I guess you're right. It's just I don't know what I'm going to do after school and I only have 12 weeks left and am kind of struggling

What I'd do, Fixie, if you aren't doing so already, is go look for a tutor. They might be able to help you understand stuff you aren't getting and if you ask them for advice and/or help with getting organized, they'd be more than willing to help. If that isn't your problem, I'll probably just repeat what Crispy said and just let you know that there is a lot of stress, especially during that senior year (I don't know what the final year of pre-college education in Australia is called, forgive me). Don't give up and just remember that you're almost finished. Hold out, work hard, do your best, and sprint(not literally), because this is the home stretch and that is what you must do to finish and succeed.

Also, in my world, I haven't gotten much finished with my project this week. I need to ask for help with certain stuff with my program, but the guy who's s'posed to be helping me is never around...

Might also be home this weekend, so I'll try to get in some game time on Steam if anyone would like. I just got Magicka and I'd like to try either that or some more Spiral Knights.

Thanks for the support guys , now that I've had a look at things and have spoken with my teachers things aren't as bad as I had assumed.

The final year is just simply year 12/12th grade

On a side note, I'm worried about the game industry with the recent close of departments from some major devs. Things would appear to be changing, for better ir for worse remains to be seen.

So I read an excerpt from 50 Shades of Grey and, well, let me tell you I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair. That book is so immensely, hilariously stupid I'm surprised anyone could read the entire thing. Oh and apparently it was originally a Twilight fan-fiction. XD

So yeah, as my post on the front page stated, we will be making the move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas imminently. We are scheduled to leave Wednesday night and arrive early Thursday morning. I can't wait to get this whole thing over with because the last two months have been crazy.

On the bright side, we've reduced our essentials down from a house full of stuff to one room full and my dad will be taking over our place so we don't have to worry about furniture, appliances and our dogs. It will be nice to travel light and since we're shaking things up, Pie and thought that if Penny Arcade funds through to their next stretch goal, we are seriously thinking about applying and competing for a spot in their reality show. We both think it would be really cool to participate, and of course the opportunity to hang out in a cool creative environment sounds really freaking awesome. Of course, there are a lot of scarily talented people out there, so its a little intimidating, but we think it would be a lot of fun and interesting XD
