So what's new in your life?

I've always loved roller coasters. I've been several times to the Six Flags Great Adventure theme park, which is home to many world record coasters.

Kinda Ka is great, the tallest coaster in the world... It's a very short ride, but it sure is crazy. It's not uncommon for the coaster to not make it to the top and roll back to the start, only to have to try again. This was actually the first 'real' roller coaster I had ever been on, and the ride before more me was a rollback, so I was pretty anxious about it xD Since then, I've been on it quite a few times in the front row.

Someday I really have to look up the "break a leg" business and figure out how that came to mean "good luck." Perhaps it just means that the only possible thing that could make you screw up is a broken leg, and that's better than forgetting your lines or somethin' like that?

Anyway, just outa curiosity: What was your drama production?

I can't remember exactly, but I know the term "break a leg" has to do with the superstition that saying "good luck" is bad luck before a performance. Because of this superstition most performers instead wish something bad, most commonly break a leg, because the opposite is often believe to be true.
