Myers-Briggs Personality Test

Postby Bear » Fri Mar 23, 2012 9:24 am

I wanted to resurrect this thread that's coming out of the hidden forum section (guild archives).

I've always liked stuff like this because I find it to be pretty spot on. Take a test and have some fun sharing the results! Maybe you will even learn something about yourself?! Just remember to answer everything as honestly as possible~

More detailed descriptions of the different personality temperaments can be found at:

http://www.personalitypage.com/four-temps.html &

http://keirsey.com/handler.aspx?s=keirsey&f=fourtemps&tab=1&c=overview

My results were:
INFJ
Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
Strength of the preferences %
11 38 12 33

All Idealists (NFs) share the following core characteristics:

* Idealists are enthusiastic, they trust their intuition, yearn for romance, seek their true self, prize meaningful relationships, and dream of attaining wisdom.
* Idealists pride themselves on being loving, kindhearted, and authentic.
* Idealists tend to be giving, trusting, spiritual, and they are focused on personal journeys and human potentials.
* Idealists make intense mates, nurturing parents, and inspirational leaders.

Counselors (INFJ) have an exceptionally strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others, and find great personal fulfillment interacting with people, nurturing their personal development, guiding them to realize their human potential.

Counselors do quite well with individuals or groups of people, provided that the personal interactions are not superficial, and that they find some quiet, private time every now and then to recharge their batteries. Counselors are both kind and positive in their handling of others; they are great listeners and seem naturally interested in helping people with their personal problems.

^ Hi-5!

Introverted (I) 58.33% Extroverted (E) 41.67%
Intuitive (N) 62.5% Sensing (S) 37.5%
Feeling (F) 70.83% Thinking (T) 29.17%
Judging (J) 54.17% Perceiving (P) 45.83%

INFJ - "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.
As an INFJ, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in primarily via intuition. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit with your personal value system.

INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types.

Hmmm...

Ooh! That's interesting Crispy XD

Mind you, my results were from a few years back. I think maybe I'll retake it later and see if I still fall into the same category. It should be interesting to see if/how I've changed.

Wow, another INFJ? Now I'm curious just how similar we are in person XD

Also, seeing your percentage so high on Introvert Farore makes me wonder what my actual percentages were. When I saw Crispy's, I thought mine were also on a scale of 100%, but now I wonder if it is actually a 200% bar, and I'm only 11% in on Introvert? But that wouldn't explain Crispy's opposing percentages??? I'm so confused.
/spin

Hmm, I better erase my percentages on the second post and now I am left to wonder what the original results were since I didn't save the detailed breakdown, just simple numbers. Hmmm... I'll re-take it later.

Also, must stop constantly checking forums....need to finish comic >_< I'm kinda being a bit lazy today since this weeks comic is an old-school style one with 5 rows and 15 frames. So we have a bit of work and chatting was helping me wake up this morning XD

I was slightly confused when I compared our different percentages. It seems like your type isn't based on exactly where the percentages fall, but maybe how the percentages compare to each other? Overall I felt it was pretty accurate. I seem to do well being social on forums and in games, but in person I'm always very shy. /shy

Oh God, I feel like a monster. But hey, at least I got highest in the one thing that matches all you INFJs

E - S - F - P
11 12 50 33

Which is apparently the Performer.
I am not a reasonable man.

To be honest I'm not really surprised Paul haha! Do you feel like a monster because you killed one and then put on it's skin?

I think it's neat that people are getting different types! It would get boring if we all did everything the same anyways.

Also I don't think I put it but I got Counselor.
