Had to buy a new pair of headphones (this is a frequent occurance for me since I go through these things quickly. I try to take care of them, but still...). Now, I'm picky about my headphones. A lot of headphones try to add extra bass. As if all music is made better by more bass. Some music is, but that is why you have the ability to edit your sound output. Instead of artificially enhanced bass I prefer good sound, call me crazy. Anyway, for a few years I have been using Skullcandy Inked headphones, and have been dreading the day that things change. Because, you know, when you have a good product that sells well, the last thing you want to do is keep selling it. These are my favorite because the sound is clean and they have a decent amount of ambient noise reduction. Well, Skullcandy finally changed them. Pretty much a new design and a flat wire instead of the old side by side wire. Thankfully, the sound is about 95% as good, which is acceptable. I was very, very worried for a moment (a good pair of headphones is life essential, from where I'm sitting), but thankfully they still get the job done. A tad bit of bass increase, but I can adjust for that. If you also used Inked, fear not the new design. Of course, it was unecessary, but oh well.
Epic , brah!
